We went to the doctor yesterday and got to see our tiny baby. Wow! I think both of us were speechless when we saw the first glimpse of the baby. The baby is measuring 2 1/2 inches. The heartbeat rate was 157. Dustin's mom has a theory about a baby's heartbeat....so before this visit she thought baby boy but now she says girl and is seeing lots of pink! Dustin said, "Oh, no! I am doomed!" During the ultrasound the baby decided to give us a little show...it looked like it jumped! The doctor said everything looks great! That is always good news to hear...I just have to drink more water. I do my very best, but holy cow an entire gallon a day!

How exciting! They say if the heartbeat is faster it's a girl because girls hearts are smaller so they have to beat faster. It was true with Addie...
