The Start of the Nursery

Last weekend, Dustin starting working on the nursery. We decided to put bead board and chair rail up. When we find out if we are having a boy or girl, is when we will paint the top off of the walls a color. He worked on it all weekend and did such a wonderful job, making sure it would look perfect. He had to build up one of the bull nose corners, fill in the corners, and cut out opening in the paneling for the plugs and switches! Before it even got painted, we were amazed at how much it changed the look of the room. We love it. Last weekend, I also received an email from Babies R Us telling me that the crib and bedroom furniture that we liked was getting discontinued, so we went and bought/ ordered that. Dustin couldn't let it sit in the box for more than a day. He put it together last Sunday morning! Usually I am the on with things totally ready way before they need to be, but he has been getting the baby's room all ready! He is so adorable! Yesterday, while I was at a class, Dustin had a friend come over and help him finish prepping the wall for painting and then they painted the bead board and chair rail. It looks great...Thanks Dustin you did an amazing job on the nursery!
