As a thank you for our beautiful wedding we bought my dad a new Akita puppy. The first time we saw Smokey he was just four days old. We went and check in on him about a week before we picked him up. The day after the wedding, on our way back to our house where friends and family would be, we picked Smokey up (he was just fie weeks old). My dad had no clue, but everyone else was in on the surprise. When I heard dad coming I took Smokey into the back bedroom to hide then when I knew he was finally here I walked up to him , he was digging in the cooler so he had no idea what I was holding, and said "Dad thank you for our wonderful day. It was perfect. Here you go!" And he looked up and he was in love with his new best friend instantly.
This picture was taken on May 31, Smokey was about ten weeks old here. He is such a big boy. We call him trouble because he still gets into things that he shouldn't.
This picture of Dad and Smokey was taken on June 29th. Smokey just turned four months old and he weighed in at 35 pounds this past week.
