For Thanksgiving, for the past few years, Dustin and I travel to Tennessee to be with his family. Mawmaw, Papoo, Aunt Janice, Uncle Roger, and Chad all live there and we meet The McGlothlin's there. This year, we had an extra traveler! We decided to fly into Pittsburgh, PA so that we could stay and visit with some other family and friends and so they could play and visit with Aiden.Our flight left Las Vegas late, which made it a quick run through our connecting airport. Aiden was fabulous on the first flight, we were actually pretty surprised. We were prepared with Children's Dimatapp to insure he would sleep. Well he didn't need it. We gave him a bottle at take off and he was just fine. Our second flight went just as well. Others on the plane with us told us that they didn't even realize that we had an infant with us. Good news for us! We arrived in PA on Tuesday evening.
Oh..and going through security wasn't that much harder with an infant and all of his belongings!
We woke up early (2am) so that we could drive down to TN. The drive is about anywhere between 8-9 hours. Again we were worried about how Aiden would do traveling in the car for so long. But we were able to make a few stops so that we could feed and change him. He did great! He got fussy towards the last stretch, but heck I was starting to hate being in the car too.
We had a great traveling experience with Aiden. We hope he continues the trend for trips to come!
